I’m the founder of the Sparks Group, which brings together three key initiatives: Sparks Academy, Sparks Scribe and Sparks Flow. I’m also the director of two support businesses, Sunshine Family Support and Crushing Goals, all born from my personal journey as a mother to three neurodivergent children and my deep desire to turn real-life challenges into practical, accessible and human-centred solutions.
It all started with the difficulty of finding suitable carers for my own family. After many trials and learnings, I developed a recruitment method that now supports other families in similar situations.
Throughout this journey, I recognised a clear need: many people want to become excellent support workers, but lack accessible and targeted tools to grow. That’s where the mission of Sparks was born, to offer practical knowledge, strengthen interpersonal (soft) skills, and build a solid support network for those working or looking to work in disability support.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: to equip professionals to deliver more human, efficient and conscious support through the development of soft skills, ultimately raising the standard of care across the NDIS community.
As time went on, new needs emerged, and with them, new solutions. Sparks Scribe was created to simplify and professionalise shift notes. Sparks Flow was designed with the (increasingly present) future in mind, supporting families who need ethical and efficient help with recruitment.
I’m a real mum, a frontline professional, passionate about innovation and always tuned in to emerging trends and technologies, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. My commitment is to keep support workers and families in the NDIS space ahead of the curve, ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
