MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Hey, I'm Kim!

I'm the founder of Sunshine Family Support and Crushing Goals, established in 2020 from my personal journey navigating neurodivergence.

As a mother to three incredible neurodivergent children, I intimately understand the challenges and joys of this path. SFS's core is entwined with my experiences—I struggled to find suitable caregivers for my family, leading me to develop a hiring method through from trial and error.

This method, now assists other families in similar situations. Through many interviews, a realisation struck me: my next mission involves helping individuals improve their support work skills. This mission not only furthers careers but also improves the standard of care in the disability support space."

Sparks Academy

is an online learning platform focused on enhancing soft skills and providing essential, practical information for support workers. Recognising the gaps in various areas, we understand that many professionals, despite their qualifications, face significant challenges in their daily work, leading to lost opportunities.

Inspired by my experiences reviewing CVs and hiring qualified professionals for my own family, I took action. I trained my team, gathered valuable information, and created Sparks Academy to make these resources available to the professional market.
