is a mobile and web-based app created specifically for
independent support workers
who want to keep shift notes simple, professional, and stress-free.
By joining the Sparks Membership for $29.00/monthly, you will gain early access to the first version of the
Scribe App as soon as it becomes available.
Please note: The app is currently under development. This means:
There is no official launch date at this time.
We are aiming to release the first version sometime in 2025, although this may change without prior notice.
We may, at our discretion, release test (beta) versions to 100 first members for early feedback.
Access may be rolled out gradually, depending on technical availability.
We are working hard to deliver a secure and effective solution. However, by joining this project, you acknowledge and accept that:
The development of the app depends on third parties, such as developers, hosting providers, and external systems, which may lead to delays or temporary disruptions.
The app may contain bugs, errors, or temporary limitations during the testing phase.
Sparks Academy is not liable for any loss, damage or disruption caused by misuse of the app or by temporary system issues during development.
By joining the project, you agree to:
Act in good faith, and not make unreasonable demands, request refunds based on unmet expectations, or attempt to harm the reputation of Sparks Academy.
Not share, copy, or distribute any app features, test versions, screenshots or related materials without written permission.
Provide constructive feedback, if participating in testing, to support the app’s improvement.
We reserve the right to suspend access to the app if any user breaches these terms.
By joining this initiative, you will:
Be among the first 100 members to test and influence a tool designed specifically for support workers.
Gain lifetime access to the initial version of the app, with the possibility of future upgrades.
Become part of an exclusive community of pioneer users, with space to share ideas, provide suggestions, and network.
Receive priority updates, invitations to testing sessions, and extra Sparks Academy content related to the app.
These Terms of Use may be updated at any time. New versions will be shared with members, and continued use of the app or membership indicates acceptance of any changes.
1 - Membership Access & Minimum Commitment
- By purchasing theSparks Academy Membership, you commit to an initial 12-month term.
Membership is billed monthly, and cancellations are not permitted before the completion of the 12-month period.
- If a member chooses to cancel before the end of the commitment period, they remain liable for all remaining monthly payments, unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- After the 12-month period, membership continues on a month-to-month basis and may be cancelled with
7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
-Cooling-Off Period: Under ACL, consumers have rights regarding digital purchases. If no content has been accessed, members may request a cancellation within 5 business days of purchase for a full refund.
2 - Content Access & Usage
- Membership grants ongoing access to Sparks Academy’s courses, resources, and exclusive content for active, paid members.
- Content is for personal use only and cannot be shared, copied, or redistributed outside of the membership.
- Some materials may be streaming-only to prevent bulk downloads and misuse.
- All course materials are protected by copyright law. Any unauthorized distribution, copying, or resale of content may result in immediate termination of access without refund and potential legal action.
3 - Payment, Billing & Cancellation
-Membership fees are automatically charged each month to the payment method provided.
- If a payment fails, access to membership content may be restricted until payment is successfully processed.
- After the 12-month commitment, members may cancel at any time with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
- No refunds will be issued for partial months or unused access after cancellation, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
4 - Refund Policy
-Due to the immediate access to digital content, the following refund policy applies:
No refunds will be issued once course materials have been accessed, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
A refund request within the first 14 days of joining may be considered only if less than 10% of the content has been accessed (as recorded in our system logs).
Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be processed within 30 days.
- Refunds will not be granted for change of mind once the membership is active, except where consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law apply.
5 - Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
-Sparks Academy provides training and educational resources on an as-is basis, with no guarantees of specific career or financial outcomes.
- Sparks Academy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from membership usage, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Members are responsible for ensuring they comply with NDIS or workplace policies when applying training materials.
6 - Consequences of Misuse
Violating these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to unauthorized content sharing, misrepresentation, or non-payment, may result in:
Immediate suspension or termination of membership access without refund.
Legal action for copyright infringement or breach of terms.
Loss of eligibility for future Sparks Academy programs or courses.
